The Gem Revealed

The thunder has rolled;
across our lives.

The storm is in the distance;
moving away from us.

The cleansing rain of truth
has exposed a treasure.

A many faceted gem;
that I have always loved..

A beautiful, sparkling, gem
that I can finally hold.

I will embed this gem
into my heart never to let it go.

I will treasure this gem
for all of my days.

and one fine day
this beautiful, sparkling, faceted gem
will shine back at me
and know that I love her.
